Whisking through Parenthood with a Pinch of Pixie Dust and a Glass of Bubbly

How I asked my girls to be my Bridesmaids!

Asking your bridesmaids to be in your bridal party is so much fun but there are just so many options on the ways to do it. I first went to Pinterest to try and figure out a way that be personal to me but also not break the bank.

My thought process was to get them something smaller to ask them because I plan on doing more in gifts for the wedding and after than just the bridesmaid proposals.

As you all might know I LOVE champagne and anything bubbly so I found a great idea on Etsy where I can order custom labels for the bottles! Each one had a little note asking them to be my bridesmaid.

The labels are from Label Your Life on Etsy. She has so many different labels from champagne bottles to wine bottles and even candle labels. If you want the specific one that I purchased here is the link.

The label wasn’t hard to apply. I just soaked each bottle in water with baking soda and then scrapped any excess adhesive. Then made sure the bottle is completely dry and then put on the label.

Now I didn’t just want to give them a bottle of champagne, I wanted to give them a little something to be able to use on the bachelorette trip and on the wedding day, so I purchased them champagne glasses. I got them from Chandler Mae Designs. They were able to put each of my girls’ names on the glasses and they came out so cute and you know I had to get one for myself. If you want to get the same ones I did here is the link.

One of my tips to all of you brides out there is to not get too many things with the word “bride” on them. After you get married you are no longer a bride so I try to get stuff that says “Mrs” or my name but in white. That way I can use it after the wedding and it will still remind me of when I was a bride.

I loved the way that I asked my girls because it definitely me and I could tell they loved it too. I have plans to get them more things but I wont say on here because some of them read my blog 😉
