I absolutely love to travel even if it is just exploring my own state. I am so excited to share a little bit of my adventure to San Francisco.
Weekend trips are always fun but to me they are the hardest to pack for. This is because I feel like I am confined to small amounts of luggage so I can’t give myself as many options as I would like. So I wanted to share a few items that keep me organized and feel like I have everything I need to enjoy my trip.

First thing that I have found that is extremely helpful to me is this travel jewelry case. There are compartments for every piece of your jewelry. The part of the case that I love the most is the compartment for my necklaces. I love to layer my necklaces so when I travel, I have alot of them and I am constantly worrying about them tangling. This case is a complete life saver! It keeps all my necklaces untangled and displays them so beautifully.

I have seen so many of these cases on social media but they run upwards of $80. I of course didn’t want to pay that so I went to look for a dupe. Amazon is my savior and I found this one!

Now lets talk carry on luggage! Weekender trips are automatically carry on luggage time to me, this is because I want to make every moment count since its a short trip and I don’t want to spend it waiting for my checked baggage.

Now since the main focus of this trip was to visit with friends we didn’t do too many touristy things but we did do a few! Our first stop was to visit Haight-Ashbury.

Haight-Ashbury is a district in San Francisco that is known for its thrift stores. When we visited last year we only got to shop for a short amount of time so I knew when we were coming back I wanted to take my time and really enjoy these stores.

One of my absolute favorite stores that I have found there was Decades of Fashion. This store is incredible! They separate their items in terms of what decade the clothing came from and let me tell you they have SO much stuff!

They don’t really allow too many pictures to be taken but I was able to snap just a few for you to see!

The next place we checked out was Rasputin Records. They obviously have vinyl records but also old VHS’, DVDs and so much more. We found such great stuff here. It is definitely a place to check out!

For one of the dinners we decided to be a little touristy and check out Pier 39 aka Fisherman’s Wharf. The restaurant we chose was Fog Harbor Fish House because we really wanted some good clam chowder while we were in the Bay! We started with the Blue Cheese Garlic Bread and Calamari and let me tell you that garlic bread was delicious. Obviously we both got clam chowder as our meals and let me tell you it was SO good!

For dessert we went over to Ghirardelli Square which is a short walk over. We enjoyed some decadent sundaes even though it was pretty chilly outside. Just a tip: these sundaes are big enough to share! We definitely should have shared they were so big! Also you may notice that there are no pictures of our sundaes because I dug in so fast, oops!

Ya’ll know I am a rainbow queen so when our friends told us about a cafe that serves rainbow lattes you know we had to go!
These lattes are so beautiful that you almost don’t want to mess them up by drinking them but let me tell you they are delicious! The rainbow lattes are pretty sweet so they advised me to get half sweetness and that was perfect for me.

We also tried the Hazelnut latte and one of their avocado toasts that they serve. Both of course were so yummy! This would definitely be a place I would check out if you are in the area!

Our last stop was Bakers Beach. You may recognize the name because this is the beach where Princess Mia went to the beach party in Princess Diaries. It is such a beautiful beach to see a perfect view of the Golden Gate Bridge.
It was a perfect ending to our trip. San Francisco is such a beautiful place to visit and there is just so much to see. Hopefully next time you visit this will help you in finding some perfect places to experience this city!

Stay Magical!
